THE WONDER OF SRI LANKA (5 DAYS 4 NIGHTS)

After arriving at Colombo Airport, Drive to Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage (1 hour 59 minutes, 77.6 km). Spend a few hours observing the elephants, feeding them (ethically), and learning about their care and conservation.
Continue your drive to Nuwara Eliya (3 hours 7 minutes, 61.7 mi). Check in to your hotel and enjoy the cool climate and scenic beauty of this hill station.

Spend the day exploring Nuwara Eliya. Visit a tea plantation and factory to learn about Sri Lanka's famous tea industry. Take a scenic train ride through the mountains (consider booking your tickets in advance, especially during peak season). Enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the rolling hills.

Drive from Nuwara Eliya to Ella (1 hour 46 minutes, 33.9 mi). This scenic route offers stunning views of Sri Lanka's mountains and countryside.
Spend the afternoon exploring Ella. Visit the Nine Arch Bridge, a beautiful railway bridge built during the British colonial era. Take a hike to Little Adam's Peak or Ella Rock for panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

In the morning, head out on a safari in Yala National Park. Yala is known for its high concentration of elephants, leopards, and other wildlife. Be sure to book your safari in advance, as they tend to fill up quickly.
In the afternoon, drive from Yala National Park to Bentota (Unfortunately, Google Maps could not find directions for driving from Ella to Yala National Park or from Yala National Park to Bentota. It might be because there are no roads suitable for cars). You might consider flying from Colombo to Hambantota (the closest airport to Yala National Park) and then continuing your drive to Bentota.

Relax and enjoy the beach in Bentota. Swim in the turquoise waters, sunbathe on the soft sand, try your hand at water sports, or explore the surrounding area.
In the afternoon, drive back to Colombo Airport (2 hours 22 minutes, 120 km) and drop off your rental car before catching your departure flight
